Autoclaving is the safest way to prevent infections. After sterilization, however, care must be taken that the instruments are not contaminated again. The MELAseal 100 and MELAseal 101 sealers allow you to seal the instruments to keep them safe from any contamination. Without the user having to exert considerable pressure, an optimum sealing of 10 mm width is achieved. The DIN 58953 standard requires a width of 8 mm. The measuring table is integrated into the equipment. After switching on MELAseal 100, a heating period of approx. 2 minutes. When the light goes out, the appliance is ready for use. When the crank is turned, the pressure bar is pressed against the heated aluminum sealing bar. After only 2 seconds the casing is sealed with a 10 mm wide seal. The built-in cutter cuts the envelopes / envelopes to the required length during the sealing procedure. These wrappers are cheaper than plastic bags. MELAseal 100 has been designed for medical studies that need to seal numerous instruments in transparent sterilization wrappers (eg MELAfol), at certain times of the day and in a short time, for example during lunch break or after hours of work.
